Adriano Mirchou is a filmmaker hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, where he was born and raised.  He began writing, directing, editing and producing his own short films after high school when he moved to California and began teaching himself the medium through trial and lots of error. He attended Santa Barbara City College and then transferred to Utah Valley University, where he began funding his own short films and worked on various projects as an editor and cinematographer, among many other positions of production. While at UVU, he also worked at the Sundance Film Festival and his third short film, Train Of Thoughts, was featured on the Sundance Ignite Short Film Challenge. To date, he has wrote, directed, edited and produced 13 short films. Working primarily in thrillers and dark comedies, his films often deal with outsiders of society whose plans go terribly wrong, and in the midst find themselves along the way. Most recently, he finished post production on his latest film, Coyote Red, which is entering the film festival circuit in Summer 2024. He received his Bachelor of Science in Philosophy at UVU in 2019 and was accepted into Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and Television, where he graduated in 2024 with an MFA in Film & Television Production and an emphasis in directing. He is always working on several projects, and is always looking for new opportunities to expand horizons. When not working on film projects, he works full time as a copywriter for various businesses and commercial advertising. He currently resides in Los Angeles in Playa Vista, and can be contacted via email.
